International Treaties


Primary materials for international law pose a special challenge to the researcher. Few open web sites collect the breadth of materials featured below.

  1. EISIL - Electronic Information System for International Law
    Developed by the American Society of International Law (ASIL)
    Includes "primary materials, authoritative web sites and helpful research guides to international law on the Internet."

  2. Multilateral Treaties
    Tufts Multilateral Treaties Project
    Links to treaties.  Search keywords or browse topic lists.

  3. University of Minnesota Human Rights Library
    Contains more than 85,000 core human rights documents (available in 9 languages) including treaties, regional materials, bibliographies and research guides, refugee and asylum resources, and links to over 4,000 other human rights sites.
